Age Requirement

At Beautiful Luxe School of Cosmetology, applicants may enroll as early as age 16, provided they meet all admission requirements, including proof of an education equivalent to the completion of the ninth grade.

Please note that under Michigan law, individuals must be at least 17 years of age to sit for the State Board licensing examination. Students who enroll before turning 17 may complete training hours but will not be eligible to take the licensing exam until they meet the state's minimum age requirement.
